- Lift vehicle, fully drain original ATF fluid, remove transmission oil pan and internal filter.
- Disconnect the mechatronic wiring harness plug, remove fixing bolts and take out the whole valve body assembly.
- Thoroughly clean the transmission mounting surface, wipe residual oil sludge and old sealant.
- Install new 8F35 valve body, tighten bolts following factory torque specification and reconnect wiring plugs.
- Install new oil pan gasket, refill specified Ford ATF fluid, clear ECU fault codes and perform road test to verify smooth shifting without alarm.
